The gingerbread men I'm making are too moist that I can't move them from the counter to the cookie sheet.?
I used a Betty Crocker gingerbread cookie mix, and combined two packages. However, the dough is so moist that whenever I roll it out I can't pick up the gingerbread men to put them on the tray. What's wrong with them?
you have to flour your rolling pin AND the surface you are rolling them on. Generously. Or they will stick.
You could also roll them out on parchment paper and then just transfer the entire thing to the cookie sheet if you want (after removing the excess dough after you've used a cookie cutter.) just make sure you do it the right way to get maximum cookie per square inch (c/sq. in.)
