How can I find out the origins of a motor bike frame?
I have just bought a 50 year old Triton motorbike and would like to know the origin of the bike frame. I have it's number and I've already Googled it but nothing came up. Can you help please. I hope it's an old racing frame. Maybe won some major race in it's time!
I think you may find it was original to the bike.
as I remember it you put a Truimph engine into a Norton featherbed frame and got a Triton.
Im guessing your bike is the original triton. and the engine is the bit with a history. or it too was made for the job. nearly all were raced at some level.
